After much collective discussion and debate, the New York City Tempest Collective Organizing Committee here explains the local’s approach to the Mamdani campaign. This includes recognizing the acute need for collective organizing beyond the campaign to win crucial reforms, including those promised by Mamdani, and to defend ourselves against the coming attacks from the right, capital, and the Trump administration.
