But the working masses, women, labor unions, indigenous nations, and other social movements have not surrendered. In Bolivia, miners, Indigenous communities, farmers, and organized labor have been carrying out a nationwide rebellion, marked by road blockades, strikes, independent assemblies, and mass mobilizations, all with the aim of forcing the resignation of Trump favorite President Rodrigo Paz.

The Bolivian masses are opening a new era of struggle in Latin America, an era that can also reshape the capacity of U.S. activists to defeat reaction and chart a course independent of the corporate political parties. Join us to learn about this important struggle and its relevance for activists in the U.S.

Join this United Left Platform event and hear:

Aldierio, a metalworker, member of the national leadership of CSP-CONLUTAS, and a militant of the International Workers League and the United Socialist Workers Party (Brazil), currently in Bolivia.

Jose Villa of the Bolivian MST (Movimiento
Socialista de Trabajadores)

A representative of the United Left Platform, U.S., a collaboration of revolutionary socialist organizations committed to political independence, a strategic focus on social struggle and mass action, and democratic organizing in all efforts.

Register for the event this Friday here!

Opinions expressed in signed articles do not necessarily represent the views of the editors or the Tempest Collective.
